The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has partnered with the DOE’s HAMMER Federal Training Center to provide education and outreach for DOT grant recipients whose job it is to protect the public from hazardous materials accidents. HAMMER provides top-to-bottom program management services from planning, training development, and delivery to PHMSA grant recipients.
HAMMER is also developing specialized training and outreach materials focused on the federally recognized Native American tribes who are eligible for PHMSA grants.
HAMMER is proud to leverage its relationships with the federally recognized tribal nations and the HazMat training community by developing outreach and training programs that make transportation safety our mission.
