Fall Protection Training Fact Sheet.

OSHA reports falls are the number one cause of deaths in construction, and the number three overall cause of death at work in the United States. HAMMER’s Fall Protection Training fully satisfies OSHA requirements and is focused on training students to successfully perform their task at elevation.

Fall Protection Training at HAMMER provides students with the necessary skills to maintain their safety at heights while performing the work to realize the Hanford mission. HAMMER’s Fall Protection Training provides real-world, step-by-step skills for preventing death and injury from falls.

During training, students observe a demonstration of a suspension in a harness by the instructor, and then learn how to inspect and properly don the equipment before using it in the hands-on scenarios.

HAMMER Fall Protection Training:

  • Gives students the tools to identify potential fall hazards and dangerous work areas
  • Observe a demonstration of a suspension in a harness by the instructor
  • Review the latest fall protection practices and technology

HAMMER Hanford Training classes are available to DOE and DOE-affiliated entities including Hanford contractors and their subcontractors.
