HAMMER provides OSHA compliant HAZWOPER training with curriculum endorsed by the NIEHS and delivered through Department of Energy grants to NIEHS grantees (IUOE, IBT, USW, CPWR, IW and ICWUC). This results in workers training workers and providing the most effective peer-to-peer training by individuals with experience in hazardous areas performing their respective craft.

The HSS Training Reciprocity Program conducted through the DOE National Training Center for DOE complex reciprocity of training has recognized several of the training provider’s course material.

The provided HAZWOPER training is the foundation of safety training that instills in workers the confidence, tools and problem solving skills necessary for working with hazardous materials in a safe manner. HAMMER’s HAZWOPER program is the largest in the DOE complex and provides high quality, hands-on, standardized training that imparts the vital skills for workers to complete the Hanford mission safely.

HAMMER Hanford Training classes are available to DOE and DOE-affiliated entities including Hanford contractors and their subcontractors.
