The Hanford Safety Library (HSL) provides safety training and education resources and self-improvement materials for the entire Hanford Site. The library is available to all Hanford Contractor and subcontractor personnel and covers a wide range of subjects and technical areas. Resources available include:

- Books, magazines, and displays
- Safety meeting resources
- Technical Information Center
- Reading lounge
- Site-wide check out/check in service
- HLAN and Internet access

Up to four items at a time may be checked out for two weeks. All library materials are the property of the Department of Energy. Library patrons and their employers are responsible for the replacement costs of lost or damaged items.
