HAMMER offers realistic hands-on live radiological response training to military and other federal and state agencies, and commercial customers. We offer a menu of modular products, props and services tailored to our customer’s needs. By providing management, quality control, and on-site integration, we are a high performing, best value solution to our customer’s need for quality, realistic, and relevant Radiological Response training.

HAMMER understands the importance and criticality of training for operations in support of the Homeland Security missions. Our experience supporting tests and evaluations gives us the breadth and vision to assist our customers with exercise development and execution, which will challenge both Civil Support Team (CST) leaders and soldiers. We provide the appropriate Role Players, Subject Matter Experts, high-risk props, an excellent exercise facility, and other support to our exacting standards.

Our approach is to provide more than just people and props. We bring experts with years of hands-on live rad and first responder experience to be exercise integrators with a facility that incorporates realistic world-class props into exercise support activity. Our experts develop live radiological scenarios to achieve our customer’s training objectives.

HAMMER’s Radiological Training program is the largest DOE provider of radiological safety training, maintaining qualifications for over 5,000 individuals. Our Subject Matter Experts supported DOE development of radiological training guides used throughout the complex.

Typical training classes include:

  • Standardized Site-wide curriculums based on DOE approved guidelines
  • Hands-on skills and proficiency learned
  • Live radiological agents available

HAMMER is available to DOE and DOE-affiliated entities as well as military, other authorized federal and state agencies, and local emergency response agencies.
